Classic Hatha

Hatha Yoga concentrates on physical health and mental well-being using bodily postures (Asana), breathing techniques (Pranayama), and contemplation (Dharana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, clear and peaceful mind. Hatha Yoga works to make the spine supple and promotes circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility. All abilities are welcome :)

A postural style of Yoga wherein each movement denotes a “vinyasa count” and breathing sequence. Classes typically progress toward a “peak” posture. Multiple variations of challenging postures are explored. Experience with Hatha Yoga is recommended.

Vinyasa Yoga

Self Led Assisted Practice

All levels are welcome from new beginners to advanced practitioners looking to deepen their understanding. Modifications, assists & enhancements will be offered.

Ashtanga Primary Series

A challenging, dynamic & physically demanding practice. Experience in Vinyasa Yoga methods is recommended.

The Ashtanga Primary Series, also known as Yoga Chikitsa, is the foundational sequence of postures in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system. It is designed to detoxify and purify the body, strengthen the muscles, and prepare the mind for deeper levels of practice. The primary series consists of a fixed sequence of asanas that are practiced in a specific order, with each pose building upon the previous one.

Inspired by Iyengar Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine, this class offers a slow, receptive, calming, cooling, and contemplative practice. It weaves together restorative postures with the support of props, breathing exercises, meditation, and sound healing with vibrational acupressure. Throughout the class, the instructor will apply tuning forks on the student’s body to activate acupoints and meridians selected to support physical, emotional, and mental health. This is an invitation to release stress and tension, rest, and re-energize.

Yin - Functional Stretch

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time, holding one asana for up to five minutes. The sequences of postures are meant to stimulate the channels of the subtle body known as nadis in Hatha yoga.

Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
